The Marimba Collective was created in 2014, when three friends and former film colleagues came together with the idea of combining their professional and personal experiences in music with their knowledge on (audio)visual arts and graphic design.

 

We have, along the past years, worked in three countries: in Brazil, with institutions such as OSESP, EMESP, OER and the Campos do Jordão International Winter Festival; in the USA, more specifically in New York, with ensembles such as L'Artiste Ordinaire and the Opera Collective; and in Switzerland, with institutions, individual artists and groups such as Cie Synergie and the Verbier Festival.

 

Over time we have started partnerships with other professionals in areas such as audio production, mixing and editing, production, photography, cinematography direction, etc.

 

We work in full jobs ranging from concept development to production and finalization of the final product, as well as in any of these stages individually. We create publicity videos and photos, offer (audio)visual consulting, develop, design and adapt websites, and engage in practically any other project that unites image and music.

 

We believe that filming, photographing, designing and communicating music requires not only a considerable availability and understanding, which are only possible through experience, but also a passion for the work. And the three of us are crazy about music!
